Happy Pride Month! Here at White Star Station, we love celebrating all couples and every unique event. Today, we are taking a look back at one of our favorite intimate wedding visions from last year. This was actually a styled wedding photo shoot with a twist. The beautiful models for this photo shoot are actually engaged! Ali and Erin recently got engaged before this photo shoot so it was extra special. We were so honored to be a part of making them feel like brides for the first time!
Destination wedding planners, ‘Cause We Can Events planned and designed this entire elopement. The moodboard included an artistic boho design with some edge. Neutrals, soft pinks, and muted greens created the stunning color palette. The florals from Thistle and Lace Florals truly brought this design to life! Photographer, Leah Bullard did a fantastic job capturing this entire day! Keep reading for even more details about the vendors and design for this unforgettable day. Let’s take a look at this intimate and edgy boho elopement in Tennessee together!
Ali + Erin
You can just feel the love from these portraits of the couple, Ali and Erin! For this elopement style, they wore modern boho gowns. Ali’s fitted v-neck gown with lace detail was incredibly elegant. Hair and Makeup artists with Bangs and Blush styled her hair in an edgy style. Erin’s strapless gown is super unique! We love the lace overlay with the warm neutral color. A beautiful braid and wavy curls accompanied her look flawlessly. For an extra edge, each bride wore chic boots with their dresses. Natural glam makeup completed the looks. The accessories included a cathedral-length veil and bohemian bouquets!
Details
Let’s take a look at the details. These invitations introduced the design for this intimate elopement. The neutral colors and textures with the curated stamps were so dreamy. A modern cake was almost too pretty to eat! Even our custom round bar was complemented with matching cocktails. Then, of course, the dresses deserved their own photo moment with our spacious windows as a backdrop.
Ceremony
For this intimate ceremony, a statement arch and boho vintage rug were all the decor needed! We love how our industrial brick walls, natural light-filled windows, and gold chandelier elevated this design. We offer many different options for your ceremony location. Reception Design
The reception design included a cocktail hour vision and a sweetheart table. The “Love is in the Air” neon sign behind the bar is one of our favorite parts of this design. Incorporating creative lighting is an important part of planning an indoor wedding. We thought this was such a great idea!
For the sweetheart table, the ceremony arch was repurposed as a backdrop. A sage green chiffon runner added a pop of color to the wooden table. Then, a combination of more boho florals, taper candles, and layered place settings decorated the tablescape. Details like black silverware and tassel place cards continued to highlight the boho edgy theme. Ali and Erin captured a few photos outside of our venue space in Downtown Maryville, Tennessee to complete the day! We hope this intimate elopement inspires your wedding vision.
