Recently, we hosted an open house at our venue, inviting local vendors and engaged couples to see the space in person. The event was such a blast! Follow us on Instagram to keep up with all of our latest events so you can catch the next one! With a team of some of our favorite vendors, we created wedding design examples to view at the open house. We selected a boho romantic theme and can’t wait to share the inspiration with you today! Gather ideas for your wedding as you read this blog.
Color Palette
For this color palette, we recommend mixing earthy tones with shades of blush. This design is so versatile, so add in more or less of the colors that are best for your style. Speak with your wedding planner, rental company, and florist about the options they have. For this look, the talented florist added in some subtle deep green tones and it looks amazing!
Wedding Arch
The boho wedding aesthetic is all about texture and unique shapes. Go for an asymmetrical or geometric wedding arch in one of your neutral colors. Then for the romantic elements, add in some blush lighting and floral pieces. Dried florals are available in so many shapes and colors. They are perfect for this look! Plus, they easily transition throughout the seasons.
For this ceremony site, we opted for clear acrylic ceremony chairs and draped the area to create an intimate space. Your venue is incredibly important for a boho romantic wedding! The setting contributes to your vision. Our industrial venue balanced both the romantic and bohemian elements beautifully.
Backdrops
Don’t underestimate the impact of backdrops for your event! These can be used as a photo booth, ceremony display, sweetheart table addition, and more. These were true to the theme with a marquee “LOVE” sign and flower wall. Our open house guests loved these backdrops! Add one or more to your wedding and use it throughout the day.
Drinks & Appetizers
For the drinks and appetizers, Caprese bites were delicious and added in some of the colors from our palette. Guests could grab a glass of champagne as they explored the venue. These two ideas are a crowd favorite and look amazing with the boho romantic theme.
Table Designs
Onto the table designs. A boho wedding is never too matchy-matchy. Use a combination of rectangular and round tables for your reception. Add linens to one of the table shapes and stick with a wooden table for another! For more romance, flowers and plenty of candles are the way to go.
